Job Title: Senior Electrical Designer Location: North West England, Cumbria, Barrow-in-Furness

Job Duties: - Design and develop electrical systems and components for engineering projects
- Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs meet project requirements
- Perform electrical calculations and analysis to validate design decisions
- Review and approve electrical designs and modifications
Required Qualifications: - Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in electrical design within the engineering industry
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the electrical engineering field
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field/ experience
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design within the engineering industry
Knowledge and Skills: - Proficiency in electrical design software and tools
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications: - Chartered Engineer status
- Experience in the military and defence industry
Working Conditions: The role is based in an office setting with occasional site visits. May involve working on projects with tight deadlines and occasional overtime.
